We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Gas and Power team in either Bayswater, VIC or Macquarie Park NSW. Functionally reporting to the Transmission Products (TP) Operational Manager, your main responsibility is to manage our TP projects. 

Your other key responsibilities include:
  • Full ownership for all project phases (requirements clarification, design development, procurement & manufacture, FAT,  delivery, installation test & verification)
  • Providing technical support to the customer, including recommending solution optimisations 
  • Optimising project profitability and taking on profit and loss responsibility for the project 
  • Ensuring commercial contract conditions and timelines are met, including management of contract variations & change management 
  • Coordination & direction of human resources (in—house, factory engineering, third party) to develop efficient and optimal solutions meeting customer requirements
  • Monitoring & controlling of the project, including necessary interventions, to ensure achievement of technical requirements, delivery milestones, timelines & quality 
  • Risk management, including development & implementation of suitable technical & commercial mitigation strategies 
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and timely reporting of project status against project targets

What you will bring:
  • Experience in power and distribution transformer engineering would be advantageous
  • Multiple years of experience within Transmission and Distribution industry
  • Proven knowledge and experience in managing Projects
  • Project Management Certification (advantageous)
  • Experience with technical coordination with overseas manufacturing & engineering facilities
  • Full working rights in Australia
