Performance Controlling Analyst - 15 to 17 months

An interesting opportunity has arisen within Siemens Healthineers for a  performance controlling analyst to join our team here at Frimley, to work within the performance controlling team in GB&I Siemens Healthineers.   This role is a 15 to 17 months Maternity Leave Cover contract.

The team is primarily focused on providing a financial framework to the business processes (budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning) and conducting comprehensive cost controlling.

Team responsibilities include the monitoring and analysis of critical business KPI's to manage and control performance, interacting and liaising with all functions / business.

Key Responsibilities 

Support Period end close activities (including posting journals, driving improvements to reduce adjustments, producing key reconciliations and supporting balance sheet reviews)

·        Creation of Internal Service Agreements (ISA's) with other Siemens companies, monitoring costs, performing analysis and ensuring the correct recharge is made

·        Support the internal management reporting process (daily sales (ToGo), flash and expense reporting)

·        Responsibility for controlling costs in local entity including variance analysis and commentary

·        Perform a number of controls as part of the risk and internal control (RIC) process

·        Responsibility for external reporting (Office for National Statistics and tax reporting PAYE settlement agreement)

·        Administration of SAP (cost centre management and purchase order, maintenance, controlling and reconciliation (GRIR))

·        Support the production of analysis for key stakeholders (e.g. marketing)

·        Provide support to performance controlling team when required

Essential Skills and Experience:

·        Studying Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA)

·        Excellent analytical skills

·        Numerate, and highly proficient in the use of Excel (v-lookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables etc.), Word and PowerPoint

·        Experience of finance ERP systems

·        Ability to manage to tight deadlines with confidence under pressure

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both finance and non-finance professionals
