Project Engineer - Security

Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Security Solution Engineer within our SI team based in Macquarie Park, NSW. This role will be responsible for engineering solutions to meet customer requirements, project cost, time and quality.

Your main responsibilities include:
  • Driving and guiding the creation of technical documentation, CAD Drawings and necessary schedules for a complete solution (technical realization concept over all its domain and technical aspects)
  • Evaluating different concepts with respect to technological and commercial aspects and selects the appropriate solution to meet customers’ requirements
  • Specifying and integrating standard products, components and systems according to the required functionality of the solution and coordinates their interfaces and interaction
  • Verifying and validating the concepts and specifications versus the requirements and standards
  • Contributing to ongoing process improvement through feedback and lessons learned
  • Acting internally as an integrating and coordinating technical function
  • Commissioning assistance for the solution (supported by commissioning technicians)
  • Creating the commissioning/test documentation according to project requirements
  • Being responsible for engineering costs, time and quality

What you will bring:

•At least 2 years of experience within a similar role
•Experience in the following areas;
    • CCTV: field of view coverage analysis
    • Access control
    • Intercom
    • PA and voice recording
    • RFID
    • Video Analytics
    • Mobile Duress
    • Networking
    • IT Infrastructure
    • oIntrusion
  • Full working rights in Australia and a valid driver’s licence
  • NSW Security licence
