As Product Manager for Large Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) you will be Responsible for the definition and execution of product develoment plans based on Portfolioplaning. As a a key - contribiutor to the strategic portfolio planning of Siemens Heat Transfer Technology the productmanager supports the business performance through the whole product lifecycle.

The Head of Product development and Licensing is looking for a new Product Manager for Large HRSG to fit into his dynamic team in Siemens Heat Transfer Technology. 

Siemens Power and Gas supplies products and solutions at a global level for large-scale and decentralized electricity generation as well as for the oil and gas industry. Its capabilities encompass gas and steam turbines, generators, compressors, HRSG and turnkey solutions for combined-cycle power plants. Within Power and Gas, Siemens Heat Transfer Technology is specialized in the design and supply of HRSG’s, contribiuting to the optimized Siemens Combined Cycle Power Plant solutions.

In your role as Product Manager for Large Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) you will be in contact with colleages form Sales, Project Execution, Engineering and Supply. In addition, you will have frequent contact with colleages from Product Development and Portfoliomanagment of other disciplines.

You will be responsible for for definition and execution of product develoment plans based on Portfolioplaning (Cost & Time & Quality). Support Project execution of First Time Applications within the Product Family, Implementation of Improovments and Lessons Learnd and constantly observes market trends.

Some meetings are probably lined up in your agenda with colleages in the local office or around the globe connected in our virtual meeting place. While e-mail’s keep floating in your inbox you will be approached and consulted on all kind of questions and issues around development programs, special product features, cost & product optimizations. A large variety of topics and every day there will be a new one.

“What do you need to make real what matters?” 

  • You have completed your University Degree (Master) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;

  • Broad experience in a Technical/ industrial environment, with at least 5 years experience in the design/ project execution of Steam Generators;

  • Preferably knowledge of/ experience in HRSG’s for a Combined Cycle Power Plant;

  • You are able to speak and write fluent English, and are have basic skills in Dutch.

  • You have a strong personality.
