REDEFINING VASCULAR INTERVENTIONS

To provide on-site technical support for Corindus customers including installation, trouble shooting, acceptance testing, repair, updates and upgrades to distributed Corindus product. Field Service Engineers will also assist in the failure analysis and report generation of returned product as well as trend analysis of returned product for systemic non-conformance diagnosis. Field Service Engineers will also participate in and provide support for customer phone inquiries, technical questions, and the documentation of all customer reports complaints / problems.
Installation, repair, maintenance and upgrade of Corindus products in the field at custom facilities and at Corindus Headquarters. Complete system verification testing of robotic and video systems. Maintain organization reliability goal for customer system uptime.
Live/phone/email technical support for Corindus’ customers, Sales, Clinical and Marketing
Plan and execute pre-installation site surveys to document catheterization lab layout in preparation for system installation.
Plan and execute shipping of tools, materials and product to and from job locations
Plan and execute all travel for field service activities
Complete expense reports and service documentation in a timely manner
Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Quality and R&D departments to help deliver the best possible user experience.
Desired Skills and Experience
Associates degree or higher in an electrical engineering, electronics, or mechanical engineering
At least 5 years’ experience in field service or technical support with experience handling electrical components and ESD controls. Prefer experience with medical device capital equipment product.
Ability to travel up to 90% of time with some international travel
Ability to lift 100 lb. tool box
Ability to work effectively independently and in team
Effective and professional communication skills, written and oral. Comfortable communicating with customer representatives, including nurses, bio-medical engineers, technicians and physicians as well as internal engineering and operations personnel.
Technical skills including the ability to read technical specifications, utilize measurement tools, configure and troubleshoot video systems utilizing fiber optic components.
Experience in an ISO 13485 quality system and GMP environment
