As an LNG Project Engineer, you will be responsible for performing activities for select projects. In addition, you will assist the Project Engineering Manager in the administration of the project and provides technical oversight and coordination of design engineering.
Focal point for technical issues/coordination between Siemens and JV Partners Engineering Disciplines, Suppliers, Fabrication, Construction and Client
In conjunction with the LNG Solutions Engineering Manager expedite the flow of technical information.
Understand contractual requirements and communicate to team
Facilitate communication between discipline leaders and factory engineers
Assist in the development of the detailed engineer schedule
Ensure engineering deliverable are produced in accordance with Project Schedule
Monitor quality of design work
Monitor suppliers’ compliance with purchase order conditions
Management / resolution of Management of Change program (MOC)
Communicate scope and design changes to the Project Team
Development and management of the Technical Query and Deviation Request Processes
Actively support safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives
Actively support constructability program and communicate constructability issues to discipline engineers
Assist with project closeout and turnover of deliverable to Client

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction.
7 years of hydrocarbon oil and gas project experience
Strong communication skills, written and oral, supported by inter-personal skills that support working at a senior level.
Team player with a mindset to work with a global team and with diverse cultures.
Ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with peers and partner representatives to influence decisions or ways of working.
Ability to coach, mentor and share knowledge in both formal and informal settings.
Excellent written and presentation skills with ability to explain technical matters to staff not conversant with the detailed technical area.
Able to manage time effectively, both own time and that of a team to achieve delivery of work against agreed schedules.
Self-starter with a strong delivery focus and good problem solving and analytical skills.
Fluent English oral & written essential, German is a strong advantage.
Experience of working on projects with joint venture/consortium partners beneficial.
The candidate will be required to travel domestically and internationally.
