Function description (roles/accountabilities):
The overall objective of the Product Manager UX is to realize continuous improvement of the user experience of Simcenter 3D, across all applications.
Building on a strong CAE background and expertise, and having good understanding of the Simcenter 3D platform and several applications, the Product Manager UX will work with the different Agile scrum teams to:
Collect and analyze customer/field feedback on UX
Gain knowledge on industry best practices in UX
Drive forward the UX initiative within the Simcenter 3D product division:
Providing and following-up on usability rules and guidelines to Scrum teams
Reviewing new UI design and providing feedback in sprint reviews as stakeholder
Backward looking, help identifying and prioritizing product backlog of UX improvements
Establishing KPIs on UX and measuring against goals
Understand and translate user pains into actionable solutions by leading design-thinking workshops
Be the go-to person for all UX related questions and provide UX guidance where appropriate.
Link with the UX team in the NX CAD team, and making sure that the Simcenter 3D follows similar paradigms and practices, to provide a seamless CAD-CAE experience to the user.
Educational Level: University level degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in CAE.
Specific personal competencies: passionate about product design and look-and-feel, strong communication skills, analytical thinking, teamplayer, excellent English, high customer focus, eager to learn constantly.
Specific technical competencies:
CAE experience with leading FEA software such as for example NASTRAN, ANSYS, ABAQUS.
Knowledge of software usability measurement techniques
