This position is tasked with maintaining and enhancing reliability processes to support development of new product and on-going product reliability monitoring. Provides direct customer support by leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) teams to resolve reliability issues and supports improvements that increase product performance while reducing nonconformance costs.
Monitor and analyze production, field, and customer complaint data to identify product reliability issues. Develop new data and analysis processes as needed.
Perform internal and customer-requested Root Cause Analysis to improve product reliability through development and implementation of robust solutions. Write / present customer reports on the analysis activity as required.
Participate in product design reviews and assist with early identification and resolution of reliability problems.
Ensure efficient 8D process through accurate reporting and management of overall process and ensure that RCAs are done in a professional manner.
Support IMS Quality System programs to ensure system compliance to Siemens, Registrar, and Customer requirements.
Perform IMS Quality System Internal Audits
Support and train on Q-Methods like FMEA, Reliability Methods, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analytics, Risk Analysis etc to find sustainable problem solutions
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education & Experience:
BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Technologies: Drive Technologies, reliability, fabrication and assembly technologies
Methodologies- Reliability Analysis, 8D / Root Cause Analysis reports, presentation techniques, facilitation, FMEA, risk analysis, field quality analytics
Typically 8 years or more of successful experience in Reliability Engineering and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education & Experience:
American Society of Quality Certified Reliability Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Auditor, FMEA Moderator.
