Sr. Global Marketing Manager, Digitalization

Position Overview

 

As the Sr. Global Marketing Manager for Digitalization, this role will report directly into the Head of Global Marketing for Automation and Diagnostics IT within the Laboratory Diagnostics Business Area.  The individual will be responsible for the global product marketing of the Atellica Diagnostics IT portfolio used by in-vitro diagnostic labs to improve laboratory workflow and positively impact patient care.  The position requires close collaboration with global and regional stakeholders and strong leadership and drive to champion the successful marketing, sale, adoption and impact of our digitalization solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Driving product strategy initiatives and helping regions/countries achieve MTA forecast commitments

  2. Collaborating with regional teams to create reference sites, proof points and relationships with key opinion leaders

  3. Engaging with customers to support regional and country opportunities, establish relationships, gain insight and validate and refine market positioning and sales approach

  4. Creating and maintaining highly effective collateral and sales tools for assigned products

  5. Creating content and delivering country and regional product trainings

  6. Creating and driving successful realization of marketing plans and global launch plans

  7. Leading cross-functional global commercialization teams to successfully launch new products and SW releases

  8. Performing market and industry trend analysis and deep product competitive assessments

  9. Positioning, differentiating, and targeting of respective products in the identified solution segments

  10. Effectively communicating with regional and country internal stakeholders to help address needs

  11. Partnering with members of the global Business Area teams including Marketing Communications, Product Portfolio Management, Marketing Management, Business Management, Healthcare Consulting Services

  12. Planning and supporting VIP engagements, tradeshows, and industry events with delivery of highly effective presentations and product demonstrations

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

 

 

  • Deep understanding of clinical lab workflow and fully conversant with lab operations, terms and technologies

  • Previous product marketing experience and at least 10 years of experience within the in-vitro diagnostic market

  • Understands the role and impact that automation and IT can have in improving lab workflow

  • Degree in Medical Technology, Health Science, Engineering and/or Business Administration

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Very customer focused and ability to engage with and establish relationships with customers

  • Approximately 25% travel required
