The research group Wireless Networks evaluates and implements current and future wireless technologies for industrial applications. If you want to help shape the digital future with us, then take the chance and complete your internship with us!

  • Gain deep insight into working with wireless and wired industrial communication standards (5G and 802.1 / TSN)

  • Together with our experts you work on the development of procedures for the precise time synchronization of mobile devices

  • In addition, you are also involved in the subsequent implementation of developed processes in a simulation environment with C ++ under Linux

  • Our range of tasks is very broad: Try it out and discover your own potential!

  • You are currently a student of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field with focus on wireless communications and you are required to complete a mandatory internship under university study regulations

  • You have good programming skills in C / C ++ as well as experience with Linux

  • Ideally, you have knowledge of the design and operation of wired (Ethernet, 802.1 / TSN) and wireless communication systems (5G, LTE)

  • Additionally, you score with experience with network simulator ns-3 or OMNET ++

  • Since we work in an international environment, you have very good English skills, German language skills would be an asset

    We encourage you to use this subject matter towards your BSc or MSc thesis. The duration of this internship is based on the study regulations of your university.
