Siemens Real Estate (SRE) is responsible for the professional management of Siemens’ real estate portfolio worldwide. SRE manages the real estate portfolio, operates the properties, and is responsible for building projects and the purchase and sales of real estate. SRE thus ensures that the use of resources is optimized and sustainable in terms of costs, transparency, and efficiency. This includes the acquisition, setup of new commercial/industrial real-estate, renovations, disposition of locations and servicing customers with a broad set of service offerings.

  • As Head of Development and Transaction Controlling Europe you are financially responsible for real estate development projects as well as property purchases and sales in Europe
  • You are the key Finance contact and sparring partner for SRE’s Global Head of Development & Markets as well as SRE’s Global Head of Transaction Management
  • You are leading a small team of experts
  • You act as a commercial project manager including responsibility for managing tax, accounting, company law and other commercial aspects
  • You and your team prepare business cases and develop related tools and principles
  • Together with your team you are responsible for project reporting & controlling
  • You are responsible for the Finance affairs of the legal entities used for realizing the projects
  • You are a role model for your team in demonstrating ownership culture and you develop your team in this context

Use your skills to move the world forward.
  • You have a strong academic background including a university degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
  • You gained longterm relevant professional experience in a Finance or Real Estate role
  • You possess leadership competence and experience and can motivate, coach and develop your employees
  • You worked on commercial aspects of real estate development and sales projects (accounting, tax, financing) for many years
  • You have know-how in business case calculations and the relevant methods
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English and German
  • You are a self-starter and quick learner, you have strong analytical skills, you are innovative, and you demonstrate drive and commitment
  • You can take strategic decisions and have good operational judgment
