Técnico de Servicios de Motores de Gas

Job Description

 

Siemens is looking for a Field Service Technician to carry out maintenance repair and installation of Siemens Gas Engines in Spain.

The mission is to install, maintain and repair gas engines installed on different locations. Their maintenance, repair and installation duties may be performed at client´s home or in a place of business.

Usually perform many of the following tasks:

  • Completing preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance and field modifications on the installed gas engine equipment.
  • Interacting with clients to solve their day to day issues and maintaining regular communications with customer and back office to ensure follow up of different topics
  • Installing new hardware and software.
  • Solving on different gas engine equipment
  • Tracking the data fleet and issue reports.
  • Supervising subcontractors and teaming up with other specialists.
  • Planning Service intervals.
  • Maintaining tools and test equipment ensuring they are properly calibrated
  • Ordering required spare parts and leading groups of subcontractors
  • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such issuing reports, service logs etc.
  • Identifying and participating in sales opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Technical Engineering or Professional Training with experience
  • Two or more years' experience working on service of gas engines.
  • Available for been mobilized at short notice and ravel frequently.
  • Being able to work on weekends and bank holidays.
  • To be part of the 24/7 customer support service.
  • Valid driven License.
  • High commitment with Health and Safety and quality.
  • Having mechanical/Instrumentation & controls skills and used to work on gas engines.
  • Experience on troubleshooting.
  • Being able to work alone or with a team.
  • Level of English (communication and writing)
  • Computer skills
  • Cability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to multi tasks activities.
  • Comply with internal and external regulations.
