Senior Marketing Content Strategy and Operations Specialist

Position Overview:

The Sr. Specialist of Content Strategy and Operations is a key role that develops and aligns marketing communication content successfully across business units, roles and regions. He or she evangelizes content strategy standard methodologies, develops the content, facilitates the alignment and improves the efficiency through a centralized, consolidated and coordinated methodology for content lifecycle management. The strategy will bring together the emotional state of the customer along the journey and is the key element of the overall marketing communication process. The responsibility includes developing, communicating, monitoring, measuring and improving the health and the impact of the entire content ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Customer’s Energy Market and figure out the needs of Customers for technical and commercial content
  • Develop and implement the content strategy based on a customer-centricity approach, considering market drivers, customer needs, personas, potential solutions and marketing strategy
  • Coordinate and prepare documents for marketing communication campaigns, webinars, white papers, customer seminars, technical publications, etc,
  • Select appropriate medium for message or audience based on the customer journey for digital and non-digital touchpoints
  • Facilitating webinars and technical Siemens conferences with customers
  • Perform gap analyses on how the content inventory maps to internal and external audiences, along with their specific journey requirements
  • Evangelize and educate relevant teams on content strategy standard methodologies
  • Lead all aspects of content measurement and key performance indicators (KPIs), including the design and operation of meaningful, synthesized dashboards, reports and analyses
  • Co-own and co-manage requirements definition, selection, prioritization and implementation of content-related technologies

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent in similar field such Engineering, marketing,
  • 6+ years’ experience at large global company or agency in corporate communications / communications strategy
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different layers of the customer organization (From CEO to Plant managers with the balance between high level and details)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with different partners
  • Ability to understand the digital transformation and how to drive this change
  • Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred knowledge/skills, experience

  • Strong background and experience in the Energy market, preferred with Power Plant Operations (customers and business models)
  • Content strategy, development, management and analytics
  • Audience segmentation/personas
  • Digital technologies, including web content management, content marketing software, web analytics and social media tools
  • B2B marketing communication campaign strategy development and implementation
  • Experience building an end to end customer journey/user experience
  • Experience working with external agencies and vendors
