Test Engineer

Job Description

This position will design and perform API & PTC testing of compressors and rotating equipment. The main focus will be on performing client testing, but the scope of work will also involve departmental improvement projects. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates test activities and reports and documentation for contract testing.
  • Coordinates with inter-departmental personnel to insure proper testing is being designed/performed
  • Performs performance and mechanical calculations to design client test procedures
  • Reviews test setup drawings and helps guide others when setup is in process
  • Supports development of future state projects within the testing department

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering
  • 2 + years of experience in a technically driven engineer role
  • Work experience with rotating equipment

·       Be able to work standing for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per day. 

·       Be able to climb up and down stairs without restrictions.

·       Be able to push and pull up to 25 lbs without restrictions.

  • Proficient with Microsoft office, managing projects, good verbal and written communication skills, highly organized.
