- Visit internal and external customers to develop business opportunities for Digital Grid Business Unit in VIC and SA.
- Leverage technical solutions for Protection, Control, Communication and SCADA Systems, including also new market trends like MicroGrids, Remote Monitoring, Remote Maintenance, etc.
- Detect local market requirements and leverage technical solutions in contact with other Business Units, Business Segments and Headquarters
- Write solution specifications and develop operation philosophies to enforce Siemens position in selling process
- Understand and clarify customer requirements, driving those expectations into Siemens technical concepts and expertise’s
- Create market demand for our solution, including develop and present to customers and possible stakeholders our solution business cases, including financial aspects like ROI, CAPEx vs. OPEX, etc.
- Prepare offers, including cost calculations, and define delivery concepts of our solutions
- Supports Sales organization in approaching and serving potential customers best with options of using DG products and solutions in customers products
- Constantly analyses product portfolio of the dedicated customers
- Checks with developers, Project Managers and Management on customers side options to integrate DG products and solutions
- Creates respective technical and commercial concepts and offerings, in order to support the sales process
- Plans and completes consulting assignments to industry partners, on technical and commercial level
- Support BU organization in contract negotiations at all stages, with information and analyses
- 5 years’ of experience in a sales environment in the field of Protection systems / Substation Automation solutions
- Bachelor of Engineering degree
- Experience in bid preparation / tenders in the field of protection systems / substation automation solutions
- Experience in ‘hunting’ for leads
- Valid driver’s licence and full work rights in Australia
- Years of experience in the field of engineering of Protection systems / Substation Automation systems/substation design/protection & SCADA systems FAT/ protection & SCADA commissioning
- Experience in developing a go to market strategy for new products or solution offerings in the field of protection systems / substation automation solutions / Microgrids
