Selling state-of-the-art technology in the building automation and IoT markets you will enjoy a fast-paced and rapidly evolving business environment, being highly committed to realising the businesses vision and goals. The mission is for FIN to become the leading open framework software provider in buildings globally.

The main target territories are Scandinavia, Netherlands and Poland, with some coverage of the UK too.

You will be customer facing a lot of the time either to visit existing clients, closing new customers or supporting J2’s presence at conferences and exhibitions. Initial engagement with prospective customers will take place over the phone or via email.

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Successful track record of closing sales deals within the building automation, IoT or related markets
  • Experience within building automation, IoT, or related industry or experience of selling automation systems and network technologies
  • Other languages (Danish, Swedish, Dutch, Norwegian) would be advantageous but not essential

Your Team

You will work closely with the Global VP of Sales (based in the UK) plus one other who is managing sales for Southern Europe.  Additionally, the sales team are supported by our professional services team (“the Glueteam”) in Europe consisting of an excellent manager and two applications developers and a technical support engineer.

Location and Travel

This is a home-based role with frequent travel to Europe and around the UK. Location base is flexible, but preferably within easy access of a major hub airport as travel to Europe will be frequent.
