Siemens Mobility supports the vision of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) through its Intermodal Solutions to provide easy and seamless use of various forms of public and private transport from a single source: bus, train, car sharing and much more - according to the needs of the travelers and the city's transport landscape. With our digital solutions, travelers receive exactly the support they need: for intermodal route planning prior to departure, booking and payment, and by providing up-to-date information during the journey. Our offerings serve not only passengers, but also mobility providers and operators. Our solutions build a basis for new business models and open new revenue opportunities through an expanded multi- and intermodal offering. The analysis of mobility data enables further optimization of the range of services and a balanced design of the transport landscape.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

We currently have around 40 employees in New York. You will be responsible for our highly complex North American business, which you will resolutely expand. You will build on our most recent successes in invitations to tender and win new customers in order to expand our market share. We will also identify potential partners (e.g. start-ups) and drive forward M&A activities. You will work closely with the Mobility regions in the U.S. and the management of the newly created IMS segment.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • You have a university degree (masters/bachelors) in an IT, business or engineering discipline.
  • You also have many years of professional experience in project management, product management, sales management or development management in a software environment.
  • Ideally you have a background in mobility topics (railway engineering, road traffic engineering).
  • You have a proven practical grounding in direct customer contact and have already worked in a sales-related environment.
  • Expertise in business development and/or M&A would be an advantage.
  • You also have an excellent knowledge of English. A knowledge of German would be an advantage but is not required.
