Sales Engineer (Process Instruments)

Job Description

What are my responsibilities? 
  • Searching for new partners and/or clients who could benefit from our products in a designated region 
  • Travelling to visit existing and/or potential partners and/or clients 
  • Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with partners and/or clients 
  • Managing and interpreting partners and/or clients requirements 
  • Persuading partners and/or clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs 
  • Calculating partners and/or client quotations 
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms when applicable
  • Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions when applicable
  • Offering after-sales support services 
  • Administering client accounts 
  • Analyzing costs and sales 
  • Preparing reports for head office 
  • Meeting regular sales targets and other defined KPIs
  • Recording and maintaining client contact data in CRM tool
  • Co-coordinating with the projects sales team 
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events 
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs 
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education 
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.

What do I need to qualify for this role?
  • 3 to 5 years of direct experience in sales for field instruments
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrument Engineering or related
  • Proficient with IT / CRM tools and MS Office
  • Good command of English language, fluent in Thai
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and customer management skills
