Job Description

Financial Expert is responsible for:

The role is intended to develop, drive and manager new sustainable financial solutions to drive growth within  public private partnership business. The person is expected to devise a strategy for the PPP to be successful in forging partnership with clinical partners. The solutions should be acceptable to operators, financiers and internal stakeholders. The person should coordinate with various  functions within company to  execute the financial solutions.

·       Drive and manage repeatable solutions/financing programs for PPP contracts. Maintain relationship with financing partners including commercial banks, finance companies, Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), private credit insurers, private equity, multilateral finance institutions .

  • Identify financing structures and engage with the Indian Market to apply the same in PPP deals
  • Develop, manage and nurture relationships with financial institutions and PPP partners.
  • Support sales team with innovative deal specific  finance solutions , which is mutually acceptable internally and externally, as and when it is required.
  • Drive strategic and selective new financing solutions / programs for meeting market and customer requirements in a dynamic business environment
  • Drive out-of-the-box thought processes with commercial leadership, BAs and financing partners to create and develop solutions for the future.

  Key Competencies:

 To succeed in this role, you should have the following  skills and experience

  • Preferably  should  have Master’s Degree in Finance / Engineering 
  • Business professional experience in finance and credit for medium to long term financing (including equity analysis, valuation and placement/sell-down)
  • Strong analytical skills with solid financing process understanding, and related accounting / operational requirements.
  • Significant due diligence experience of financial contracts including equity type (including legal and fiscal aspects)
  • Good understanding of modelling (including NPV / IRR analysis etc)
  • Experience in developing and driving strategic new financial solutions and programs
  • Previous experience across the spectrum of sales, finance, project development and structured financing
  • Good negotiation skills and people management in cross cultural, matrix environment, ability to collaborate with virtual teams.
  • Knowledge about financial instruments, taxation, statutory requirements for healthcare, risk assessment, experience in contract and claim management.
