EHS Coordinator E

Job Description


The EHS Coordinator ensures that all applicable legal and Siemens internal requirements in the assigned area of EHS (Project, Product and Plant Business) are implemented and a certifiable EHS Management System is maintained and effective. Sets and implements EHS roadmap based on business strategy and Corporate EHS roadmap.

 

 What are my responsibilities?

  • Leads EHS assigned organization.

  • Serves as key contact for all EHS matters.

  • Ensures EHS Management System implementation and drives continuous improvement.

  • Ensures that applicable statutory requirements are identified and implemented.

  • Ensures that all Siemens internal standards, guidelines and requirement are implemented.

  • Uses relevant methodologies and tools for risk prevention and root-cause analysis.

  • Ensures and controls EHS related reporting as to local and Siemens requirements.

  • Ensures adequate EHS related communication towards internal and external stakeholder and authorities.

  • Ensures proper qualification of EHS team and EHS Community.

Qualifications & Requirements


Typically, 10+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge. At least 5 years of site related experience from relevant business. At least 5 years of management experience (incl. leading teams, intercultural experience).


Degree in technical education and/or EHS related/relevant fields (e.g. Safety Engineer, Industrial Engineer).


Evidenced training/expertise in the broader spectrum of EHS topics (Optional DC-5)


Expert level knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 management system


Local regulatory knowledge.


Advanced and fluent English language.
