The Mentor Graphics Child Development Center has a full time opening in our Infant/Toddler program as a floater Teacher. Floater Teachers work with 3 classrooms supporting children birth through three years of age.
This position is 40 hours per week Monday - Friday in a full year/full day program. Operating hours for the Center are 7:30 AM - 6 PM, shift is flexible but generally works 8:30-5:30.

Responsibilities of the position include supporting the daily work of our infant/toddler classrooms. Floaters fill team roles for staff who are out ill or on planned time away from work. Floaters support classrooms through curriculum implementation ; direct care-giving with children; open and constructive communication with colleagues and parents.
Prerequisite requirements: This is a teacher qualified position. Applicants must meet education requirements. Minimum of A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education or Documentation of a step 8 in the registry.
Ability to meet requirements for an initial background check, enrollment in the Oregon Child Care Criminal History Registry, Adult, Infant and Child CPR/First Aid and a valid Oregon food handler’s card.
