Join us at intersection of Big Data and the Internet of Things where we deliver IoT nodes that change the way people interact with the built environment. As a subject matter expert for Enlighted’s Building IoT platform, this position is tasked with supporting field Sales in design development, technical support, customer engagement and proposal generation. Providing creative application of solutions to meet customer needs and function as a technical authority of a project team. Responsible for the delivering of high-quality system or product level applications. The role is multifaceted with focus on application/solution engineering, business development, and product management. Evaluates and investigates 3rd party products, development tools and processes. Ultimately, you will be equipping the Enlighted and Siemens branches and partners with technical know-how and right tools/processes to drive the sale to close.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
All qualified candidates MUST have 5 plus years of the following experience:
- Strong networked lighting control products and system knowledge.
- Strong lighting application knowledge - highly technical.
- Proficiency crafting detailed design diagrams with tools such as (Visio, Ppt, etc.)
- Experience with designing lighting control solutions including the creation of one-line diagrams, schedules, etc.
- Experience in quoting the designed solution and ensuring that products and services are accurately budgeted.
- Experience in engineering and programming lighting control solutions.
- B.S. Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The most qualified candidates will have experience in the following areas.
- Experience with integrations involving the use of APIs and/or BACnet IP
- Comprehensive understanding of network architectures and technologies: TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless.
- Experienced in network security frameworks and firewall configuration requirements
- Bonus points for CCNA/CCNP and/or Security certifications held.
Travel up to 25%, to be located near major airport
