What is this Opportunity?

As Sales Team Leader, you will be leading a team of sales professionals who sell Siemens Security Solutions and Services tailored to meet our customers’ requirements across the GTA. In addition to sales leadership responsibilities this is a working sales role which will directly interact and sell Security solutions and services to the customer and will have their own individual quota. This is also a great opportunity to showcase your initiative and leadership potential.


What will you do?

  • Deliver value through cultivating existing relationships and creating new customers with Siemens Security Solutions and Service.
  • Be the front-line seller who drives sales, identifying and generating opportunities for different kinds of customers.
  • Foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations.
  • Develop customer relationships through self-marketing to new and existing customers in the consulting, contracting, and end-user markets.
  • Develop and maintain service contracts and services to the customer base.
  • Provide education of Siemens products through technical presentations.
  • Maintain and provide reports for: opportunity status using our customer relationship management system as input on forecasting of opportunities; accurate and though sales activity, forecasting, and expense tracking.
  • Reviewing proposals and estimates to ensure accuracy, company standards and professional quality to meet customer and company objectives.
  • Actively participating in senior-level selling to large/key accounts. Maintain ongoing contacts with large/key accounts, considering these customers’ needs relative to new product development.

What will you need to succeed?

  • 5+ years’ Extensive experience within a Sales role within the Security Industry selling to end users and the construction tier
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
  • Excellent team mentoring and collaboration skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction; self-starter
  • An ability to impact and influence across a broader organization
  • An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
  • Significant experience in selling products and services
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in security systems
  • Strong knowledge of competitive landscape i.e. impact of IoT in smart buildings in security
