Joining the team within the Meter Assurance Service Line for our Networks metering business, your role will involve maintaining responsibility for the day to day operation of the contract and provision of the services. We are looking for someone who comes from an electricity metering and service delivery environment with exposure to the Capacity and Contracts-for-Difference (CfD) markets.  You will have the opportunity to lead two permanent team members and from time to time additional variable resource too.


What part will I play? 

  • Responsible for the day to day operation of the contract and provision of the services.  Planning and mobilisation of the fixed and variable resources required to deliver the required service volumes. Leadership and support to other team members.

  • Monitoring and reporting of performance against the agreed service levels and preparation of monthly performance reports. Management of change control process if required due to changes of service lines or SLAs.

  • Regular Liaison with Elexon to ensure the smooth co-ordination and delivery of the services.

  • Attendance at periodic performance review meetings with the Elexon to discuss service delivery KPIs and SLAs, service improvements, innovation and continuous improvements.

  • Carry out full end to end desk based technical assurance audits on Capacity market and CfD market metering systems.

  • Carry out full on-site audits of Capacity market and CfD market metering systems.

As the Meter Assurance Delivery Manager you will bring your technical expertise into a supervisory role, ideally with:

  • Experience within the metering industry and a good understanding of the different metering solutions used in the Capacity and CfD markets.

  • Experience in a Technical Engineering environment.

  • Proven level of competence to HNC or degree level or equivalent.

  • Must have flexible and organized approach to work to support the dual leadership and technical service delivery requirement of the role.
