Diagnostics Country Business Lead – Sweden

 At Siemens Healthineers Sweden, we are looking for a laboratory diagnostics head to lead and motivate a team of 13 mostly sales and product marketing professionals. In this role, we can guarantee that no two days will be the same which is also reflected in the wide range of challenges and obstacles that need to be overcome. Among other things, you will develop and implement the overall diagnostics commercial strategy within Sweden while relentlessly driving to exceed business goals. Furthermore, through your superior coaching and mentoring skills, you will inspire and motivate your team of 13 direct reports to ensure a productive and healthy team environment. Finally, you will effectively champion the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders, balancing their needs with the goals of the organization.

As a member of the Swedish Management Team, the DX Country Business Lead has the overall responsibility for driving commitment and accountability of the DX team to achieve / exceed business goals.



Responsibilities:

 

Results Orientation:

 

  • Responsible for ensuring the success of business goals

  • Responsible for the achievement of Orders, Revenues and Market Share targets

  • Responsible for annual, quarterly and monthly forecasting demands

  • Responsible for developing creative new approaches to achieving sales goals

  • Responsible for the management of assigned cost center

  • Responsible for all A&P expenditures. (conferences, VIP visits and sponsorships)

     

Strategy Development and Execution:

 

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, execution and tracking of a sales strategy to achieve business results

  • Responsible for driving team to execute marketing programs

  • Responsible for driving pricing excellence

     

    Customer-Focus

     

  • Champions the “voice of the customer” to internal stakeholders, balancing the customer needs with the financial goals of the company

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of business relationships with key opinion leaders in the market

  • Responsible for the monitoring of industry developments and following market changes via market research, sales calls and analysis of competitive information.

  • Responsible for customer events in Sweden

  • Responsible for Tradeshow and Congress presence in Sweden

     

    Teamwork & Leadership

     

  • Responsible for the development of a strong team environment within own team as well as other internal stakeholders, which is essential towards achieving a solution-based approach

  • Partners with internal stakeholders (finance, service, project management, legal, HR, etc) to achieve goals

  • Removes obstacles and supports direct reports to achieve business goals

  • Responsible for the coaching and mentoring of direct reports

  • Responsible for performance management of direct reports

  • Responsible for training requirements of direct reports

  • Champions, Leads and Supports Corporate Key Account strategy development and implementation of associated activities

 

Experience

 

  • Proven experience and consistent performance (minimum 10 yrs) in leading sales/marketing teams and developing customer accounts in the Nordic Healthcare market, preferably in Laboratory Diagnostics

  • In-depth knowledge of the Swedish Healthcare market with a very good understanding of the financial and commercial side

  • Experience in transforming processes and organizations leveraging digital and automation solutions

  • Experience in developing and implementing innovative and creative business approaches to expand sales coverage

  • Willingness to travel for work in Sweden and abroad

  • Driving license (minimum: B)

  • History of driving change within complex business environment

  • Strong understanding of laboratory diagnostics’ customer needs

  • Strong leadership and influence skills, particularly within a matrix organization

  • Strong background in a customer focused environment

  • Demonstrates passion for customers and customer relationship building

  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills. This team player must be flexible, enthusiastic and possess an energetic personality.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills and negotiating skills to motivate and direct a sales and marketing organization

  • Can maintain composure to achieve objectives under pressure

  • Has strong negotiation skills.

  • Has strong knowledge in CRM management including the use of opportunity management /pricing processes and tools.

  • Financial Acumen and understanding of finance concepts in diagnostics business is definite asset

  • Strong analytical skills to deal with complex business issues

  • Effective time management and conflict resolution skills since the job requirements encompass interaction with a large number of inside and outside customers

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Healthcare. Master’s Degree Preferable

Languages

  • Swedish and English are optimal. Danish or Norwegian and English would also be an option.
