Senior Strategic Consultant, HR People & Leadership Development

Job Description

People & Leadership (PL) China team is looking for a Sr. Strategic Consultant to shape PL
strategy and portfolio in China in line with business priorities and market practices.  
Responsibilities:
 
▪ Derive market intelligence of People and Leadership Development trends, esp. in the rise
of digital technologies and new generations in the workforce. Provide independent
opinions on innovation and adaptation of PL portfolio and practices in China
▪ Drive strategic PL projects and execute PL portfolio in China, from business needs
identification, validation, concept development to solid implementation and feedback
▪ Experiment data analytics in PL to derive insights and enable better people decisions
▪ Shape leadership culture towards future needs to enable Siemens China business
transformation 
▪ Strengthen communication of PL activities to increase visibility of PL, both locally and
globally 
▪ Build relationships through eye-level discussions with internal / external stakeholders to
ensure buy-in and solicit feedback on PL principles, portfolio and practices
▪ Build connections with HRBPs and other Expert Teams to live HR as One spirit
▪ Actively engage in People & Leadership global communities and act as role model for the
organization
 
 
Required qualifications 
 
• University degree, advanced degree such as MBA preferred
• 5-8 years in Talent Management, HR Business Partner, HR Consulting, or equivalent
combination of education & experience. Management consulting or professional services
background is a plus.  
• Identifiable successes driving strategic topics with leadership teams. Prior relevant
experience in digital companies is a plus 
• Demonstrated ability to formulate and articulate structured messages to top executives on
strategic level
• Analytical thinking with the ability to derive insights based on data-driven analyses
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills in order to build relationships with talents, HR
communities and business leaders
