SCOPE OF POSITION:
As a member of the Division communications Business Partner team, this individual contributor will independently work on (strategize, execute and measure) communications tasks across the full communications mix to support the growth of Channel sales within the Product and System Sales organization of Siemens Smart Infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following: (other duties may be assigned.)
Act as lead communications strategic business partner to Channel Sales leadership
Develop and execute communications strategy to support the rollout of the Sales teams’ overall objectives, targets and focus areas, including product launches and targeted channel growth programs.
Creation and/or distribution of communications and marketing tools and assets that enable our channel partners to extend our reach into the market.
Support the full rollout of Salesforce to the channel partners; ongoing optimization as a marketing communications tool.
Support sales meetings and internal activities to drive alignment
Responsible for driving association-related events and relationships
Fully align with BU and Vertical Market MarCom to develop and distribute sales tools and training that support new products, focus growth markets, etc.
Measure and regularly report back on performance and adoption of communications assets and programs
Act as liaison to other division and Siemens-wide sales organizations to share sales tools and training through their communications channels
Apply relevant governance standards, policies and procedures to -- and ensure consistency, quality, and transparency of communications.
Assist in content development to ensure consistency of message in internal and external communications, e.g. internet, intranet, extranet, brochures, advertising, press activities, presentations, case studies.
Solid understanding and consistent implementation of corporate brand guidelines.
Research and communicate sales success stories, projects, products and innovations.
Partner with the Media Relations, Online Communications, Employee and Leadership Communications and FSS teams on a project basis.
Monitor and manage budget as designated.
Using the required governance tools to ensure transparency in communications activities (ie. Content operations, digital asset management, etc.)
Manage relationships with internal counterparts, agencies, suppliers, control quality, delivery and service, and channel feedback as required by specific communications projects.
Observe and analyze communication activities of competitors or best-in-class companies.

- Proven communications skills with a demonstrated ability to research, analyze, plan and execute in the areas of message development, employee communications, meetings management, and communications effectiveness measurement

BA in communications/marketing
Domestic Travel 10%
8-10 years successfully performing the planning, directing, executing of communications to internal and external stakeholder
Strong organization skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong customer service orientation.
Solid computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work under time constraints with multiple projects
