o Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Senior Manager to lead, coach and direct software engineers and oversee their development efforts. The candidate should possess excellent technical skills and have experience with working on large scale development projects. Experience in medical product development and the relevant industrial standards is required and work experience with offshore team is beneficial.
§ Functional management / coaching of team members; responsible for Performance Management Process e.g. target setting, evaluation and competency development
§ Act as representative and product owner for all topics of the team and its projects, coordinate the team's projects
§ Encourage collaboration within own team and between teams
§ Ensure knowledge transfer across projects and across technical domains, ensure the further development of expert knowledge in the team
§ Actively contribute to the projects of his/her team
§ Identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity and efficiency
§ Evaluate technical proposals by the team and work with the team members on implementing those
§ Manage and control all necessary phases of the project within the given time and budget to ensure all internal and external requirements are met.
o Required skills
§ Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or other related field, or equivalent work experience
§ 7+ years in medical product development environment with proven ability to lead, motivate and direct personnel
§ 5+ years in agile development with proven records of product delivery
§ Demonstrated results as manager in delivering performance to budget and timeline
§ A manager with skills, knowledge, and experience, in software development
