Sales Support Representative for Digital Industries

Job Description

As the Sales Support Representative, your primary focus will be to interface, service and promote the use of our financing products towards Siemens operating company Digital Industry, its distributors and end customers. You will be supporting external sales activities and be an integral part of the customer journey development. You will manage many stakeholders in Siemens Commercial Finance mainly in functions such as Risk, Operations and Finance. The products sold include Extended Payment Term, Leases & Loan, SaaS (Siemens as a Service) and other programs being developed over time.

Additionally, you will occasionally provide support to Siemens Commercial Finance activities across other Siemens companies, notably, but not exclusively, Smart Infrastructure, Siemens Mobility and Siemens Energy.


  • Defined sales support to the externally based account executives via day-to-day interaction with Customers and internal stakeholder. Development of strategic and tactical relationships therein.

  • Coordinate credit and documentation phases of the value delivery process. Collaborate with credit resources to obtain credit decision. Ensure process efficiency and accuracy of approvals and follow-up. Lead the customer fulfillment process to enhance the customer relationship. Interact with origination- and servicing personnel daily. 

  • Develop strategic and tactical sales plans and build relationship with specified Siemens companies, distributors and end customers.

  • Deliver according to set targets and measurements.

  • Establish Siemens Business Unit relationships with sales and customer service personnel. Understand their requirements and business process and work with them accordingly to fulfill customer requests. Provide new business opportunities to the Business Units wherever possible.

  • Gather current competitive data during the client engagement process regarding products, pricing, terms, documentation and communicate to appropriate Technical Resources. Obtain complete information on customers’ needs and timing of asset acquisitions. Gather feedback about customer satisfaction and communicate to appropriate personnel. Own and generate relevant reports

Required Skill, Experience and Education

  • 3-5 years of proven external sales or sales support experience. Experience from the asset finance industry not a must but an advantage.

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • A basic understanding of the asset finance industry required.

  • Relationship building skills (via telephone primarily but also face two face) are key to success; ability to influence decision makers. Proven track record of involvement within projects as well as process development.

  • Strong writing and presentation skills. 

  • Team player with a strong self motivation and curious to learn and take on-board new areas of responsibilities. Strive for high level of quality and strive to drive areas of improvement.
