Head of Operations - Commercial Finance

Job Description

As the Head of Operations - Commercial Finance Americas, you will be responsible for leading the alignment of the Documentation, Funding, Cash Applications and Customer Service teams with the direction of the overall business.  This will be done through process development; process change and process improvement, taking advantage of under-utilized systems and visioning new solutions with the focus on providing quicker and more comprehensive customer solutions.

Your Areas of responsibility will be in the following areas:

  • Contract Documentation Team:
    • Building and developing the team.
    • Process development and maintenance.
    • Delivering accurate documents timely to the customer.
    • Enhancing the automation.
  • Contract Funding Team:
    • Building and developing the team.
    • Process development and maintenance.
    • Funding and booking transactions timely and accurately.
    • Improving processes through automation.
  • Cash Applications Team:
    • Building and developing the team.
    • Process development and improvement to support growing portfolio.
    • Apply cash timely and accurately.
    • Improving processed through automation.
  • Customer Service Team:
    • Building and developing the team to support business model.
    • Process development and maintenance.
    • Funding and booking transactions timely and accurately.
  • You will also partner with Internal SFS customers such as:
    • Financial Services Senior Management
    • Sales Leadership and Sales force
    • Accounting
    • Risk & Internal Controls
    • Corporate Tax
  • You’ll be responsible for preparing daily and monthly Key performance Indicator reporting and leading other projects as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Education and Skills

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the Leasing Industry: specifically lease operations, cash application and lease accounting.
  • Ability to communicate, both written and verbal, at technical and non-technical levels to Senior Management and peers.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to articulate and lead the vision of the team.
  • Ability to successfully multitask, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Sie Smart, Cassiopae and SAP.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in the leasing industry with practical experience in Customer documentation, funding, customer service and cash application
