We are looking for enthusiasts that want to design and deliver hospital operations management solutions enabled by real-time digital technology and consulting to transform hospitals into highly efficient organizations with the human element in mind.

A part of a complete Clinical Decision Support (CDS) solution is integrating into EHRs.  It is this integration that embeds our CDS into a physicians’ ordering workflow The Siemens CDS team is preparing to accommodate further integration development into a wider variety of EHRs and ordering systems

Building an integration is primarily a software development activity The CDS EHR Integration Specialist will work with EHR vendors, developer programs, and customer analysts to build software that co-ordinates the communication between the EHR and the Siemens CDS solution This role will also work with EHR vendors when they need support in understanding decision support workflows and the Siemens CDS API. 

The CDS EHR Integration Specialist will be responsible for the above activities, developing integration components where required and supporting other developers in building integrations.

The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of software development background, possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent, and be familiar with some of the technologies used to build the integrations:

  • Java 
  • SOAP Web Services
  • JavaScript
  • REST 
  • HTML
  • CSS 
  • SQL
  • Ideal candidates would also have experiences with leading EHR workflows.
