Job Description:

The Product Marketing Specialist II will create marketing content in support of the Solid Edge portfolio. This position is part of Mainstream Engineering within Siemens and will report to the Director of Product Marketing.
 
Responsibilities:
  • This is an individual contributor role.
  • Responsible for editing, writing, and producing of marketing collateral and assets for the product(s) or industry program(s).
  • Marketing collateral and assets include; web content, whitepapers, FAQ’s, PowerPoint presentations and sales demonstrations.
  • May attend industry-related events as a representative of the organization.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • A B.S. or equivalent in engineering or marketing.
  • Has detailed CAD/CAE/PLM industry knowledge and understanding.
  • Must possess strong writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • Three to five years of product marketing experience in a CAD/CAE/PLM or other high tech software environment.
  • An advanced understanding of social media and best practices used to maximize product launches.
  • A basic understanding of manufacturing, and CAD/CAE/PLM processes and tools.
  • Analytical skills to identify go to market opportunities that successfully positions the portfolio to channel partners and customers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Software.
