We're looking for dedicated welders with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow. Join our manufacturing team as a Welder. You will work as part of a team to ensure that all projects are completed safely, correctly and meet customer expectations. You will be expected to follow and promote all safety and quality directives in support of Siemens commitment to be the “Industry’s Premier Service Provider”.
The primary function of the job is performing a wide variety of turbine layout/fitting, assembly, blading, welding required to complete fully assembled turbine components.
What are your job responsibilities and requirements?
Successful applicants need to have a minimum of 1-3 years of welding experience. Additionally, you will need to have 6G welding certification, experience welding 6G, and skilled in use of manual SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW welding processes. Experience welding Inconel is required. Additionally, you will weld other metals including carbon and stainless steel is required. Applicants must have the ability to use shop mathematics, precision measuring equipment, follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and follow written work and verbal instructions.
What are your minimum requirements for your role?
Minimum education required is a high school diploma or GED equivalent
1-3 yrs of Industrial Welding Experience
Be able to successfully pass or provide credentials for successful completion of CRC to include Industrial Reading, Math, Blueprint and Metrology written test.
Ability to pass a 6G Inconel Test weld test.
Ability to pass standard hearing, vision, and PFT tests.
Ability to use basic shop math; precision measuring equipment.
Ability to obtain fork truck and crane license
6G Welding Certification is a plus
