Senior Cyber Security Expert
Siemens is in search of a Senior Cyber Security Expert, experienced in securing industrial automation solutions for the US Navy, US Coast Guard and Commercial marine industry. This person must meet the qualifications to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
The Cyber security expert who fills this position will understand and implement the US Federal Cyber Security requirements as regulated by DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) for US Navy and Coast Guard vessels for industrial automation systems implemented on their vessels. He / she will be well versed with NIAP (National Information Assurance Partnership) standards and their implementation while working closely with an outside agency to get Siemens equipment approved for use on US Navy and Coast Guard vessels. High preference will be given to candidates with -
Familiarity and experience in defense-in-depth implementation of international cyber security standards such as IEC 62443 2-4 and IEC 62443 3-3.
Trained in US Network Defense system ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution) with experience in implementation.
STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) definition for Windows based systems and lock-down to secure systems.
Thorough Network and Systems penetration testing of Windows based systems in a hardware based and cloud environment (Amazon Gov Cloud)
NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) 800-171 environment for handling CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) for handling DFARS, Distribution A/B/C/D documents.
Amazon Gov Cloud environment initial setup and administration experience. This will be part of the day-to-day activity to ensure compliance.
Must be knowledgeable of industrial and commercial cyber security products that are commonly utilized by the US Navy and Coast Guard in their network solutions – such as McAfee (Host Intrusion Detection), SPLUNK (for intelligent threat detection), SIEM (for Security Information and Events Management).
Required Knowledge/Skills, Experience, Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or similar discipline
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 6 years of experience within Cyber Security designing and securing IT network systems for industrial automation
Experience writing technical specification documents for cybersecurity
Ability to provide cost basis for cybersecurity during proposal phase and present solution to customer.
Proven history of being able to liase with product solutions teams and implement cybersecurity solutions and standards
Willingness to travel tp to 15%
Must currently possess or meet the qualifications to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
