Job Description

What you would be doing ?

Study the machine and / or plant process, and understand the customer requirements/pain points/ process gaps.

Selection and preparation of list of materials (Siemens modules and bought out items) based on the requirements.

Technical knowledge for selection of :- Protocol Gateway selection, Software Gateway Selection, Sensor selection, PLC Program development and standardization.

Onsite commissioning PLC program, and supervision of site activities

Develop and implement applications and execute Proof of Concept at customer sites.

Coordination with regional service teams for site activities.

Manage the project coordination and conduct review meetings with customers, and bought out suppliers.

Technical support to regional colleagues for project execution.

Coordination with HQ colleagues for technical assistance / support while developing application/solution.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Strong technical knowledge of Automation products, and PLC programming. Knowledge of Siemens Automation products, as mentioned below, will be an added advantage.

Knowledge on Siemens Step 7 , TIA portal, WinCC software

PLC knowledge- S7200,S71200,S7 300, S7 400 , HMI (Classic and Comfort)

Networking with Scalance as well as Profibus.

Scripting knowledge in VBS and C (WinCC) and reporting system

Windows OS and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Other requirements

Good communication and analytic skills required.

Strong ownership, and collaborative skills required.

The job requires travel across India.

Experience - 4 to 7 Years of Experience preferred.

Qualification : B.E from recognized and reputed University of India. B.E Electronics / Instrumentation preferred.
