Job Description:

This position will be responsible for leading the manufacturing transfer of Advia Centaur and Atellica immunoassay products to China. This includes developing, staffing, and executing the transfer plan as well as supporting activities to ensure plant readiness for product registration, launch, and commercial production.

Responsibilities include:
- Development of the detailed Immunoassay product transfer plan to support product and production registration timelines
- Supporting activities necessary to prepare for successful transfer of documents, test methods, manufacturing processes, etc. 
- Creation of a process to coordinate with R&D, Walpole and the China site to ensure that newly developed assays are transferred successfully in the future
- Responsible for creation of job requisitions, interviewing, hiring of individuals to support transfer project
- Direct supervision and management of transfer personnel
- Candidate must demonstrate strong managerial skills
- Ability to understand formulation processes and systems 
- Ability to work with cross-site development teams 
- Cross-functional communication and collaboration
- Detailed written documentation of work 
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Demonstrated experience in managing international product transfers, budgeting, generation and management of Gantt, SAP-PLM, change control processes, BOMs and Routings a plus.

Job Family Responsibilities:

- Develops and guides project/program solution plans for very complex projects or programs. 
- Implements very complex technical projects or programs. 
- Guides the project/program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management) for very complex projects or programs. 
- Provides technical design guidance for projects or programs. 
- Guides continuous improvement plans and project/program expansion opportunities. 


Education:

- Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience; BS/BA with 8+ years of experience.
- Project management certification a plus.
- Verbal/written proficiency in Mandarin a plus
