The intern will work in a dynamic environment as part of a software
development team developing ultrasound features using C++ and C#.
This will involve learning and applying the fundamentals of large scale
software development. All code will be reviewed and feedback
provided to help the individual develop solid design and coding skills.
• Learn basic ultrasound technology
• Learn and apply fundamentals of large scale software development
• Help Improve unit testing on the platform
• Help diagnose and fix defects
• Help improve compile times
• Help reduce software complexity and improve maintainability
• Help on special projects
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
Academic majors: Computer Science, Software Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering (with knowledge of
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Technical skills: C++, C#, knowledge of the software development
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong technical writing skills
Duration: The ideal candidate will be available to work 20 hours/week
for at least 6 months
