What will be my responsibilities?
 
  • Your task will be to plan and execute projects in line with budget & resource constraints in an R&D environment, and according to an ISO9001-based Quality Management System. This includes tracking and reporting costs throughout, actively managing execution and risk of multiple projects, assessing risk factors, and communicating and mitigating risk as needed.
  • You will act as the Topic Matter Expert in Project Management and guide less experienced project managers and project contributors to ensure project management is conducted at a high level of maturity, quality, and success. This includes ensuring continuous improvements are identified and implemented in the project management processes.
  • Typically, you will manage multiple smaller projects in parallel, or few larger projects (e.g., typically below $1 Mio project volume), with staff from multiple disciplines and teams.
  • You will anticipate potential problems, demonstrating sophisticated reasoning skills, as well as creative, innovative and resourceful approaches to developing solutions to complex problems.
  • You will provide technical supervision to achieve project goals.
  • You will utilize your excellent communication skills to communicate technical information with clarity and make concepts understandable to an audience who may not be experts in the field.

What do I need to qualify for this position?
  • Bachelors Degree required in cyber/IT security or a related engineering discipline, and 7+ years of related technical project management experience
  • Prior experience in cyber security domain preferred
  • Prior experience in industrial domains a plus
  • Prior experience with industrial cyber security (e.g. IEC 62443, NERC-CIP) a plus
  • Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of project management
  • PMI Certification is a plus.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and adaptability in the face of challenging demands and priorities.
  • Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills in English are required. Proficiency in German a plus.
  • Willingness to travel, up to 20% (domestic/international)
  • Successful candidate must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US Export Control Law.
