Position Overview

Looking for a strong detail oriented systems technician to manage and support our internal electronic documentation (IED) system.

  • Site representative and subject matter expert for IED
  • Maintain and support IED system for the site ensuring compliance and supporting operations
  • This role will report in the Process Engineering manager with the Production engineering group


As subject matter expert for IED, this role will comprise of:

  • Maintaining the IED system and all associated production documents
  • Troubleshooting system issues
  • Working with IED central team to drive improvements to the system - ensuring system optimization for manufacturing operations
  • Validations and verifications of system changes (site and system level)
  • Training - Production and Technical functions
  • Report generation - trending, Serialization ranges, service messages
  • Audit support
  • Ability to manage and drive solutions to complete resolution - CAPA's, IED system updates, PCRB

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Technical / Quality Based degree
  • Self directed/driven
  • Continuous learning/questioning to gain understanding and challenge why
  • Previous IED experience a plus
  • Previous knowledge of DHR maintenance and Documentum a plus
  • Computer system knowledge
  • FDA regulated manufacturing experience 3 years
