Our customers are airports & airlines, courier express parcel providers, the US Postal Service and commercial postal service providers.

Job Description:

Siemens Postal, Parcel and Airport Logistics is currently seeking QA Inspector (s) in our DFW Airport location.
 
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs inspection of received materials, materials fabricated in house, or finished assemblies. Validates conformance to specifications, engineering drawings and customer requirements.
Requires good communication skills (written and verbal). Must have the capability to provide dependable information when describing non-conformances, manufacturing problems, and drawing problems.
Requires the ability to keep a positive disposition while communicating information to suppliers and customers.
Requires the expertise to perform multiple job functions within the quality group with little or no supervision.
Requires the ability to evaluate processes and provide feedback to supervisors to support continuous improvement efforts.
Has demonstrated good leadership skills, shares expertise and is capable of training others.
Organization skills to keep work instructions and procedures updated and correct is desired.
Experience with use of CMM and associated software is desired.
 
Required:
High School education or GED.
Minimum of 2 years job experience and knowledge performing inspection in a manufacturing environment in one or more of the following areas:
1. Surface plate inspection and associated inspection tools and knowledge of GD&T symbols and rules.
2. Final inspection for manufactured assemblies and/or modules. Knowledge of internal procedures and the requirements for packaging, shipping, and customer documentation to complete deliveries to the customer.
3. Ability to perform Internal Audits.
4. In process inspection for machined parts, sheet metal parts, or weld assemblies and knowledge of GD&T symbols and rules.
5. Inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies and cable & harness assemblies.
6. Software applications associated with material handling, analysis, and reporting associated with quality control activities.
