Position Overview

 

Are you ready to be a leader of the digital industrial revolution and help companies take advantage of additive manufacturing to break through design, manufacturing and business barriers? Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing for Manufacturing Engineering Software, the Marketing Director for Additive Manufacturing (AM) will lead the marketing strategy for Siemens’ comprehensive AM software solution that is poised for significant growth. The person in this leadership role will join a product segment marketing team to define, drive and coordinate the strategic marketing and go to market efforts that will accelerate revenue growth and global market adoption of Siemens’ expanding solution offerings for industrial additive manufacturing.

 

Responsibilities

 

•Be a solution owner, helping define the solution offerings, messaging, marketing campaign strategies, sales collateral and partner ecosystem for Siemens’ AM software solutions that span product segments, global marketing and sales organizations
•Build global reputation via campaign strategy utilizing public relations, advertising, social media and inbound/outbound marketing tactics
•Generate global demand via definition, development, deployment and measurement of inbound/outbound marketing campaigns that includes videos, blogs, e-books, infographics, webinars, seminars, tradeshows and conferences
•Develop and deploy thought leadership campaign strategy for comprehensive AM solution
•Drive and coordinate sales enablement content development and deployment across Siemens PLM product segments
•Own responsibility for all aspects of accelerating revenue growth via development, deployment and measurement of campaigns and sales enablement
•Create persuasive and compelling marketing communications to differentiate Siemens and partner ecosystem solution offerings within the marketplace •Engage partners in creating and executing digital and event based marketing activities •Grow and nurture partner ecosystem by identifying and engaging current and new partners in joint content, solution and marketing campaign development activities
•Establish affiliate relationships with top customers and partners to develop use cases and customer reference materials  

 

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience


• 5+ years of experience in marketing
• 3+ year of experience in additive manufacturing marketing
• 2+ years of experience in ecommerce
• BS or BA degree in engineering, business, marketing or communications.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Outstanding writing skills, social media experience is mandatory
• This position is expected to travel 20% of the time

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
 
• 10+ years of experience in marketing
• 3+ years of people management experience
• 3+ years of strategic partner relationship management experience
• MBA preferred • Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills
