Job Description:

What are my responsibilities?
  • Perform innovative translational R&D in advanced visualization solutions
  • Design, implement and test 2D/3D/4D image and information visualization applications and algorithms using real world data, translating grounded theory into practical solutions.
  • Optimize and refine implementation into high performance solutions
  • Analyze and present technical recommendations and results
  • Test, benchmark and validate implementation against specifications
  • Liaise with internal customers and external collaborators on technical requirements

    What skills are needed to qualify for this job?

  • BS or MS in Computer Engineering or equivalent relevant discipline or experience required. 
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience a must
  • Expert software programming skills in C++, javascript, HTML/CSS;  C#, Python a plus.
  • Solid background in advanced level computer graphics and in image and information visualization
  • Proven track record in hands-on graphical software application implementation in common programming languages (e.g. OpenGL, WebGL, GLSL, DirectX, OpenCL, CUDA)
  • Fluent in web application frameworks such as Angular.js, Vue.js, React.js and Node.js a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure with experienced in professional software DevOps and Cloud based deployment
  • Deeply cares about best software engineering practices and code quality, including good code architecture, ground truth design, test coverage, performance benchmarking, and performance optimizations and software security
  • Ability to quickly prototype components to confirm design trade-offs and subsequently translate to robust specifications and product quality components
  • Proficient in one or more software development tools such as Team Foundation Server / Git, MS Visual Studio
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) , collaboration, interpersonal skills in English a must.
  • Entrepreneurial approach who is willing to accept challenges and responsibilities.
