Position Overviw:


The purpose of the job is to work with the Siemens Healthineers IT Team. Internship provides

opportunities to gain practical work experience in a business environment. As a full-time, paid

intern, you will be engaged in a variety of projects, and responsible for delivering results, both as

an individual and as a member of a team.


Intern will work with several technologies including networking, virtualization,

infrastructure/cloud applications etc.


The IT Intern will also have the opportunity to learn the non-technical and business aspects of

participating in an environment of both R&D and Information Technology.


Duties will include IT Project Management

Coop should be willing and able to work overtime, be flexible in hours of the day worked.


Responsibilities / Essential Functions:Assist in project management through decomposition of tasks and Work closely with

technical leaders to determine priority of build and manage tasks

Work with project stakeholders to ensure service deliveries are on time and provide status


Identify areas for process improvement

Make recommendations to leadership for streamlining systems and processes

Provide end-user support for various areas of the organization

Learn and master internal HC IT operations for supporting requests in a timely and

accurate manner

Develop and maintain technical specifications and other documentation



Work with IT Engineer’s to develop technical architecture and design diagrams



Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

 Student must have or be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at a university or college with an

accredited engineering or computer science discipline.

 Proficient in Microsoft Office, Share Point applications

 Scripting in the Windows/Linux environment

 Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent oral and written communication

skills are all essential to this position.

 The candidate must have strong written and spoken English skills.

 Intermediate knowledge of MS Project is a plus.

 Experience in Windows operating system required.

 Any Programming language knowledge will be preferred.



Duration: 1 year (working 40 hours/week).
