Job Description:

Position Overview
The Sales Executive will be responsible for the estimating and sales of Fire Alarm test and inspection contracts direct to the end user.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the Fire & Life Safety industry and have demonstrated aptitude in successful account development.  Working as key member of the service sales team will be paramount for success.
  • Manage and grow assigned account list selling Fire Service Agreements while promoting project work and upgrades when applicable
  • Proficiently develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities within assigned accounts 
  • Develop and maintain relationships at customer accounts
  • Conducts ongoing assessment of sales goals and determines how to focus efforts to achieve incremental sales growth.
  • Communicates marketing programs and product developments to accounts to maximize sales potential
  • Monitors competitor activities and market trends
  • Prepares accurate and thorough customer account activities, sales activity reports, forecast reports, and expense tracking.
  • Develops strong relationships with new customer base through participation in civic and professional organizations, sales department meetings, workshops and seminars
  • Continues to pursue in-depth market, products and services knowledge and acquires deeper selling, technical and financial skills
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Required Education: High School diploma / GED 
  • Required Experience:  Minimum of 3 years in the Fire & Life Safety industry
  • Required Travel: 15%
  • Other Requirements:
    • Excellent verbal, written, organizational and negotiation skills necessary
    • Ability to work in the U.S. without a need for current or future sponsorship
    • Must be at least 21 years old to participate in Siemens vehicle plan.
    • Must have a valid driver's license in good standing
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Other Preferences
    • NICET Level II or higher
    • 2 plus years of sales / account management experience
    • Knowledge of Siemens Desigo & XLS fire alarm systems
