Our customers are airports & airlines, courier express parcel providers, the US Postal Service and commercial postal service providers.

Job Description:

Siemens Postal, Parcel, and Airport Logistics is seeking an Operational Project Manager of Manufacturing in support of our Supply Chain operations in our DFW Airport location. Participates in development of project/program plan. Designs the delivery of semi-complex project or program. Participates in project/program management activities (defining scheduling, budget, risk,
change, opportunity and resource management activities). Participates in technical review of system,
product or process design and documentation. Participates in continuous improvement activities. May
participate in sales activities and client relationship.
Independently performs important areas of standard professional level work that typically requires
processing and interpreting, more complex, less clearly-defined issues. Refers semi-complex, unusual
problems to others. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems.
Executes the project within the defined requirements (e.g. cost, time, functionality).
Ensures business success and satisfaction of the customer .
Ensures timely decisions on open issues, escalating if necessary.
Ensures the right staffing and allocation of resources to various phases of Manufacturing projects.
Contributes to and reviews the project proposal or plan to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project.
Represent Manufacturing at Product/Program meetings
Calculate costs associated with Engineering Change Orders and coordinate implementation strategy.
Coordinate with Sales and Customer Reps to define product ship requirements and maintain ship schedule.
Work closely with Master Scheduling ensuring that the Demand Management plan supports customer requirements
BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies
through successful completion of assignments. Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental
concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key
Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
