Our customers are airports & airlines, courier express parcel providers, the US Postal Service and commercial postal service providers.

Job Description:

Siemens Postal, Parcel and Airport Logistics is currently seeking Electronic Test Specialists as we expand our DFW Airport location. You will perform a range of specified quality test routines for materials, products and services in an assigned plant environment, in order to ensure that products meet all agreed specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate must have at least two (2) years of work experience in the following areas of responsibilities.
 
Responsibilities
* Creates measure-/testing-records and makes them available for further analyses.
* Creates first sample qualification reports for development and component engineering and prepares necessary prequalification.
* Supports in setting up new test equipment and measurement tools.
* Supports the maintenance and calibration of the systems and tools in his responsibility.
* Provides and ensures the testing of material and products in the assigned unit according inspection plans and internal guidelines.
* Initiates escalations in case of failures to the cross functional teams.
 
Education/Knowledge/Experience:
Associate’s degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred. HS diploma or
equivalent required. Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
Demonstrates comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of
operations, methods, and practices.
Generally, 2-5 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful
demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
