Siemens PLM US Talent Acquisition

 

 Value Flow Accountant

Perform functions related to general value flow accounting and works on
problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of
identifiable factors. Recommends methods and procedures to improve
accounting processes.  May be assigned to specific areas such as
accounts receivable, payroll, or Intercompany Clearing (ICC).  Operates
under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

 

Essential Functions:
•Support/guidance issuance for PL R&D recharging process
•Support for M&A Projects for Value Flow Accounting topics
•Global management of shared service team performing ICC processing
•Month end monitoring for intercompany accounts
•Support for shared service team during month-end closing process
•Journal entry posting
•Support for YE Transfer Pricing True-up Process
•Recommends methods and procedures to improve the functioning of the
value flow accounting area
•Revaluation Process Review and Support
•US balance sheet reconciliation review
•Global Monitoring and support of ICC Clarification Service & MITT
Tools, main contact for US entity
•Global Doc reconciliation for US entity
Skills and Abilities Required:
•Must be detail oriented and organized
•Must be proficient atfinancial spreadsheets and accounting software
•Ability to multi-task
•Ability to work independently
•Ability to recognize deviation from standard practice
•Ability to use organizationally sensitive judgment, problem solving
and decision-making to resolve immediate and anticipated issues
•Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external peers

 

Education and Experience Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with minimum of 4 years of
accounting experience.
