Job Description:

Position Overview:
Siemens Industry – Automotive is searching for a Senior Account Manager for Strategic Automotive End User Accounts.
This positon will be located in the Detroit Metro area focusing on both customer HQ locations as well as extended sites throughout North America. In this role you will be responsible for setting the corporate strategy and ensuring effective execution for targeted accounts in alignment with annual sales goals and objectives.
This is a key role within the Siemens sales community as it is impacts both US domestic business as well as Siemens specifications globally through corporate engagements.
This individual will need to be accustomed to working within a CRM tool for account planning, opportunity tracking, financial tracking/forecasting, and overall account coordination. Candidates for this role must have experience working with extended teams across a diverse geography. This position reports to the Director of the Automotive Vertical Segment.
Provide internal guidance to business units to achieve revenue objectives at key accounts (for example, penetration of account with product/solution/services offerings). Leverage Siemens global reach to influence decisions on projects for delivery to the customers in the US, or purchased by the customers in the US Guides the development and execution of strategic account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals. Develop/build/cultivate long-term relationships with key management within the customer organization. Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies. May form account teams and coordinate team activities while minimizing sales and marketing costs, and maximizing sales. May lead team reviews and updates of account plan based on changing market, customer conditions, and comprehensive activity.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:
8+ years of successful sales experience in Industrial Manufacturing
-Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
-Core Automation and Drives Experience
-Value Add/Solution Selling
-Executive Level Communication and Presentation Skills
-Team Leader experience
-Travel 30%
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience:
-BS in Engineering preferred
