During this internship, you will get the opportunity to:
  • Work alongside our visualization team that develops technology that allows users to understand the engineering simulation results conducted using STAR-CCM+ through qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques
  • Contribute to projects in the fields of Ray Tracing, Virtual Reality, Remote Rendering, and Surface Meshing Smoothing
  • Help improve and extend the visualization and rendering capabilities of STAR-CCM+
  • Develop new or extend existing STAR-CCM+ features
  • Currently enrolled in a 4 year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer/software engineering
  • Graduating in 2019 or later
  • Strong coding skills in C++
  • Knowledgeable in object oriented concepts
  • Experience using and extending VTK
  • Project work experience in virtual reality, remote rendering, and/or ray tracing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
