Job Description:

Position Overview

Participates in supervising production execution and completion of projects within unit. Supports product manufacturing to ensure that cost effectiveness, manufacturability, quality, and safety requirements are attainable in the production process. Participates in ensuring accuracy and availability of procedures to support product release.  Participates in providing guidance during product investigation.


Oversees the day-to-day operations of the group to ensure a smooth workflow.

Responsible for supervision of multiple employees. 

Troubleshoots and resolves semi-complex problems.  Responsible for ensuring out of specification (OOS) compliance, including OOS trending.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree, where required. 


Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work

direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.


Typically 3-5 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful

demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above


Desired Knowledge/ Skills and Experience

Quality certification strongly desired (i.e. CQA; CQE, etc.)
